Stephanie Brown

Stephanie Brown, a licensed esthetician and certified laser technician, is delighted to join Dr. Cherny and the entire team at Heartland Plastic Surgery. She is returning home to Des Moines after spending the last 11 1/2 years in Los Angeles, CA.  In Hollywood, she pursued a career in acting, appearing on such hit TV shows as "What I Like About You", "Scrubs", "King of Queens", "Two and 1/2 Men", and most recently "Las Vegas".

During her entertainment career pursuits, she returned to school earning her esthetician license.  She began a secondary career practicing esthetics at a private skin studio in West Hollywood.  Catering to mostly an entertainment business clientele, she provided a variety of facial services, including microdermabrasion, light chemical peels and other customized facials.  She incorporates a "spa-like" quality, using essential oils and relaxing massage, accommodating each client's specific skin care concerns and needs.  Whether your skin needs a treatment or a luxurious "treat", Stephanie's menu of services provides a variety of options.

Each full facial can have a service added to it, for example, microdermabrasion, a light acid peel, or fruit enzyme peel.  She uses a variety of organic and essential oil-based skin care lines, leaving your skin feeling refreshed and hydrated.

Facials include cleansing, various forms of exfoliation, steaming, extractions, masques, and facial massage.

Stephanie also provides consultation for at-home use of our medical skin care lines.  We currently offer Obagi, SkinMedica,  Therapon, NIA 24, Revision and select Biomedic skin care products.  We're excited to be adding new skin care lines, and coming soon, a new make-up line, "Jane Iredale".  This is a world-renowned mineral makeup, favored among plastic surgeons and dermatologists.  This is the "skin care make-up", used by skin care specialists and celebrity make-up artists.  We will be assisting our clients on its use and application.  We'll let you know as soon as it arrives!
